"Never forget" means exactly that. It doesn't mean "Let's have a bajillion and one specials and articles that will clearly trigger bad memories because clearly everybody forgot about two planes hitting buildings."

<sarcasm> Yes it's so easy to have such an event slip my mind. Please media, show me and the 300 million other Americans exactly what happened that day. Because, you know, we forget tragic and violent events all the time.

Not just American's, we here in Britain had to suffer at least a week over coverage on it this year! I was genuinely shocked since so many other things have happened since then with little to no mention.

I know right? Honestly the world shouldn't stop because of this. The world doesn't stop for D-Day, or the invasion of Poland, or Nagasaki, or Hiroshima etc. Why should it stop for 9/11? Especially after 10 years.

The only think I believe in stopping for is the silence on 11/11 because it commemorates the millions of people who died in the world wars.
